Walking by faith

Many times in life we are moved by sight, not by faith. A lot of times, when we ask God for something we don’t get it because our faith is so little that we are basically asking God what we think is right for us without necessarily considering his plan for us. A lot of times when we ask God for something we give him a deadline without thinking about the fact that he is an intentional God and he knows what is best for us. The university that you wanna go to, the friend that you are begging to stay in your life, the boyfriend or girlfriend that is giving you some atomic stress, the career that you desire so bad or all the other material things that you desperately wish for; have you ever thought maybe that is not the right thing for you? This is what you want, you know it, but have you sit down and discuss it with God? Do you know what he wants for you? DO YOU KNOW WHAT PLANS HE HAS FOR YOU?

2017 might not have been your year because of the number of disappointments that you had, the number of challenges, problems, difficulties, stress or failures. Let me tell you something, in these moments remember Isaiah 41:10 ( So do not fear, I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand). All the hard moments are supposed to help us strengthen our relationship with God by growing our faith but unfortunately most of the times we tend to distantiate ourselves from him rather than continuing to approach him and surrender literally everything to him.

Faith comes from hearing and hearing comes from the word of God. Why not stop gossiping, binge watching that series, following certain people and spend more time with God? We need a generation that is hungry for the word of God because we currently live in a world with too many “unbelievers” believers. People decide to believe in God when it best suits their interest, so then why expecting God to be there for you 24/7 when you are denying him most of the time?. We generally concentrate short-term desires rather than pursuing a long-term joy in Christ.

This year doesn’t have to be like all the other years, you can make a change. Walk by faith this year, never underestimate God plans for you, spend more time with God, help others and pray. Prayer is the portal that brings heaven to earth. Every time you keep praying, being humble, serving God, your blessings just keep on increasing.

How are you speaking of your 2018? You are gonna frame your 2018 with the words you speak so start declaring positive things in your life. You and I can have the faith of Elijah in 2018. You and I can see miracles in 2018.
